Moving and Packing Tips

At My Ninja Movers, we are professional movers here to offer you a few tips and tricks to a successful and easy moving. 

One of the things you don't want to see are unwanted items in your new home or office. We suggest you start early with deciding what to sell, give away or dump. Try make a list of everything you need to eliminate prior to your move so you'd have less things to worry about on the day.

We recommend donating clothes to your local church or community centre and your old books to second hand book shops or op shops. The Salvation Army will often accept any good condition furniture as well.

We also recommend labelling all of your boxes for contents and destination. In fact, label them on both sides to make it easier for movers to identify where your items will be delivered and what items are inside. Label boxes containing fragile items and segregate them from other items to prevent damage.

Our best tip is to make a list weeks before moving and organize items according to type (example, fragile items). Try to put together heavy items in small cartons and fragile items in their respective boxes to prevent any unwanted damage or leaks.
