Efficient and Renewable Energy Practices

The Arctic Energy Alliance, or AEA, is a non-profit organisation promoting efficient and Renewable Energy practices in the Northwest Territories of Canada. With the increase of energy prices, along with an increase of awareness concerning climate change, the AEA strives to be a leader in creating and promoting clean, sustainable and efficient practices when it comes to energy consumption and efficiency.

We offer a variety of programs geared toward homeowners, businesses, other non-profits and municipalities. These programs focus on incentives, energy conservation and Alternative Energy technologies. We keep up-to-date on the latest in technology and innovation in order to help our communities and clients make choices based on the newest information.

The Arctic Energy Alliances also offers kilowatt meters and temperature readers for consumers to borrow. This allows people to find out exactly how much energy they are using and whether their insulation is adequate. Energy audits are available for businesses. We look forward to improving our community through increased awareness surrounding energy issues.
