Dilute organic waste streams such as municipial residential waste water, food industry washwater, etc. have  biomass concentrations that are so low as to require a specialized approach to make anaerobic processing to fertilizer and biogas [energy] feasible. Our ESBR was the first venture into this area and we now have perfected a smaller footprint system that combines ESBR & HDHR technologies into a next generation ESBR-HDHR passive hybrid low energy processing system to make efficient use of the biomass contained in these very dilute streams.
